About This Tour
Discover the wild and authentic side of Western Madagascar, between spectacular landscapes, endemic wildlife and traditional Malagasy culture. This circuit for nature and adventure lovers combines wildlife, landscapes and culture far from mass tourism. Highlights include the limestone formations of Tsingy de Bemaraha, the endemic wildlife of Kirindy Forest, the legendary Avenue of the Baobabs and the Manambolo Gorges.

Upon arrival in Antananarivo, guests are welcomed by the Diahnay Tours team at the airport and transferred to the hotel. Take time to settle in and relax before the adventure through the wild landscapes of Western Madagascar. Overnight at 3 Metiss on bed and breakfast or similar.

Antananarivo to Morondava

Antananarivo to Morondava
After breakfast, and depending on the domestic flight schedule, transfer to the airport for the flight to Morondava, the gateway to Western Madagascar. Upon arrival, the team welcomes guests at the airport and transfers them to the hotel. Take time to settle in and relax before the adventures ahead. Dinner and night at the Renala hotel or equivalent on half board.

Morondava to Bekopaka

Morondava to Bekopaka
After breakfast, depart Morondava for Bekopaka, the gateway to the spectacular Tsingy de Bemaraha, travelling by 4x4 along a scenic and adventurous route through the wild landscapes of Western Madagascar. Along the way, enjoy changing scenery, traditional villages and authentic encounters with local communities. The journey itself is part of the adventure. Dinner and overnight at the Orchidee du Bemaraha hotel or equivalent on half board.

Grand Tsingy of Bemaraha
After breakfast, depart for a 3 to 4-hour exploration of the Great Tsingy of Bemaraha, one of Madagascar's most spectacular natural wonders. Discover the limestone landscape through narrow passages, rocky trails and suspension bridges, with breathtaking views over the Tsingy formations. The visit requires a moderate level of fitness. After the visit, a late lunch is served at the hotel, followed by time to relax. Dinner and overnight at the Orchidee du Bemaraha hotel or similar on half board.

Bekopaka to Morondava via Belo sur Tsiribihina

Bekopaka to Morondava via Belo sur Tsiribihina
After breakfast, depart early from Bekopaka towards Morondava, crossing the remote landscapes of Western Madagascar. Stop in Belo sur Tsiribihina, approximately 100 km from Bekopaka, for lunch at your own expense, then continue through traditional villages and the landscapes of the Menabe region. In the late afternoon, reach the legendary Avenue of the Baobabs to admire the majestic trees and the spectacular sunset. Continue to Morondava for check-in and overnight. Dinner and night at the Renala hotel or equivalent on half board.

Return to Antananarivo
Day 6
Return to Antananarivo
After breakfast, transfer to Morondava Airport for the flight back to Antananarivo with Air Madagascar, depending on the flight schedule. Upon arrival in the capital, the team welcomes guests and transfers them to the hotel. Enjoy free time to relax. Overnight at 03 Metis on bed and breakfast or similar.
