Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1

Welcome to Namibia – Arrival in Windhoek

On arrival at Hosea Kutako International Airport, guests are warmly welcomed by a guide and transferred to Garden Inn Windhoek. After check-in, relax and settle into the accommodation, spending the remainder of the afternoon at leisure. As the sun sets, soak in the first views of Namibia's capital city. Overnight at Garden Inn Windhoek or similar.

Day 2

Windhoek – Spitzkoppe: Cultural Encounters

Enjoy breakfast before departing for the magnificent granite mountains of Spitzkoppe, often referred to as the 'Matterhorn of Namibia'. On arrival, enjoy lunch before a cultural visit to a traditional Himba Village, learning about one of Namibia's oldest indigenous communities, their customs and traditions. Continue with a visit to a Bushman (San) Village for insight into ancient survival skills, traditional hunting techniques, storytelling and medicinal plants. End the day surrounded by the dramatic rock formations of Spitzkoppe. Overnight at Spitzkoppe tented camp or similar.

Day 3

Spitzkoppe – Swakopmund: Coastal Charm

After breakfast, depart for the charming coastal town of Swakopmund, enjoying one of Namibia's most scenic drives as the desert gives way to the Atlantic coastline. On arrival, check in at Prost Hotel Swakopmund and spend the afternoon at leisure exploring German colonial architecture, souvenir shops, the beachfront promenade and cosy cafés. Overnight at Prost Hotel Swakopmund or similar.

Day 4

Walvis Bay City Tour

After breakfast, travel to the beautiful harbour town of Walvis Bay. Enjoy a guided city tour showcasing its history, waterfront, lagoon and marine environment, visiting the Walvis Bay Lagoon with thousands of flamingos, pelicans and migratory birds. Admire the scenic marina, capture photographs and browse local craft markets before returning to Swakopmund. The evening is at leisure. Overnight at Prost Hotel Swakopmund or similar.

Day 5

Luxury Catamaran Cruise and Sandwich Harbour

After breakfast, begin with a luxury catamaran cruise across Walvis Bay, where guests may encounter dolphins, Cape fur seals, pelicans and, during the season, whales, with freshly prepared snacks and sparkling wine. Later, continue on an exciting 4x4 excursion to Sandwich Harbour, one of Namibia's most iconic destinations, where the towering dunes of the Namib Desert meet the Atlantic Ocean, enjoying thrilling dune driving, viewpoints and photography before returning to Swakopmund. Overnight at Prost Hotel Swakopmund or similar.

Day 6

Swakopmund – Namib Desert

Following breakfast, depart for the spectacular Namib Desert. Along the way, stop in the charming desert settlement of Solitaire, famous for its homemade apple pie, to stretch your legs and enjoy refreshments. Continue through magnificent desert landscapes to Namib Desert Lodge, checking in with time to relax among the endless red dunes. Enjoy a peaceful evening beneath Namibia's star-filled skies. Overnight at Namib Desert Lodge or similar.

Day 7

Deadvlei, Big Daddy Dune and Sesriem Canyon – Departure

Rise early to witness sunrise over the world's oldest desert before exploring Deadvlei, famous for its ancient camel thorn trees set against white clay pans and towering red dunes. For the adventurous, climb the legendary Big Daddy Dune and be rewarded with panoramic views across the Namib Desert. Continue to Sesriem Canyon, carved by millions of years of erosion. Afterwards, begin the journey back to the airport for the departure flight.
